In 2023, McLean & Dickey was honoured to receive the Strengthening Orillia and Lake Country Award from the Orillia & District Chamber of Commerce. The other great businesses that were nominated in this category also worked hard at making Orillia such a great community and we wanted to offer our congratulations to them as well for their achievements.
There is a fundamental philosophy behind why we believe it’s so vitally important that not only McLean & Dickey the company, but also our employees contribute to the success of our community. We support the community where we live and work because we want Orillia to be resilient, to thrive and be the best place to raise our families.
Like so many companies in our community, McLean & Dickey supports many local sports teams, events, and charities as often as possible. However, supporting the community is about so more than just writing a cheque. We also encourage our employees to give back to the community by reimbursing them for up to 14 hours of volunteer time and in this way, we build a stronger company culture. Our employees know that they are a vital part of the team, and they see first-hand, the impact that their time and contributions have made on the community.
We believe that all of us can make a difference and that Orillia is a stronger and healthier community when we all come together to help out.
